Tulen, purity ring in sterling silver and snowflake obsidian
This ring is made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop, and a beautiful snowflake obsidian.
This oval snowflake obsidian was set on an irregularly cut sterling silver sheet, like a snow slide.
Small sterling silver balls and hemispheres adorn each end of the ring.
It is quite long and will catch the eye of your friends.
I chose to name it Tulen, which means pure in Malaysia. This is a reference to the snow evoked by this obsidian, element that is evoked as a symbol of purity.
It is signed with my initials on the back.
Polished, matte, oxidized.
The surface is 3.3 x 1.5cm.
It is a 9 3/4 US size.
Following the request of a client for this custom order, we repeated the model of Tulen ring, but with a rounder and larger snowflake obsidian. It has a different character, less slender but more massive, equally interesting.
