ABOUT
Greek mythology tells the story of Jupiter who fell in love with Cynara, a beautiful blond woman who rejected him. In order to punish her, he decided to transform Cynara in Cynara Scolumus: meaning artichoke.
It is also a vegetable that my family loves to eat in this period and I thought it would be nice to honor this vegetable as a jewel.
This ring is made of sterling silver that I made in my workshop and of an autumn jasper (red, green, brown colors). It is also decorated with tiny silver discs and filigrane wire for the leaves.
It measures 4 x 3 cm.
I oxidized it to give a vintage aspect and to highlight details. The back is oxidized too and some parts of it are polished bright.
My signature lets you know I made this piece.
It is a 6 1/2 / 7 size. It cannot be resized.
