This ring is made of sterling silver (925) made by hand in my workshop and of brass.
This ring is really one of a kind. It is engraved with a flower shaped mandala on a brass plate and adorned with five small balls of silver which gives it a delicate and romantic look.
This ring is inspired by the Tibetan sand carpets that monks draw on sacred grounds. The mandala is an offering to a deity. Women make them in front of their homes to bring good luck and to protect the family.
I called it Esha meaning "desire" and "wish" in Sanskrit.
It is artisan etched. The etching process takes times but the result allows appreciating the intricate and delicate patterns. The bas relief effect is really nice.
Etching is an artisanal process which produces a unique design each time I use it. Two pieces with a same design will never be exactly the same by the hazards of the process. Each detail makes a unique piece.
