CUSTOM ORDER JEWELRY
It is made of sterling silver, made by hand in my workshop, and a chrysoprase.
The blue-green color of this chrysoprase referred immediately to water and especially that of the Gulf of Mexico. Its croc shape evokes for me the Aztec god of water, Tlaloc, the Mexican pre-Hispanic civilization.
Tlaloc, god of water, rain, lightning and agriculture, was usually depicted with a mask with long fangs and big round eyes surrounded by circles, which were often snakes.
Therefore, I set the lost croc of the god Tlaloc on a sterling silver sheet taking the form of the semi-precious stone. Triangular claws reminiscent of the teeth of Aztec deity maintain it.
I pierced the back of the sheet with circular shapes that recall the Mexican cenotes, these natural wells access to underground rivers that were one of the places of worship dedicated to the god Tlaloc.
Handcrafted. The bracelet is made of deerhide. It is a very soft and flexible leather and it is really nice when worn. The width is 6 mm and is about 1 mm thick. The thinness of the bracelet makes it easier to wrap around your wrist.
The color of the leather is Caribbean sand.
There is also an extra sterling silver chain measuring 6 cm to help you fasten it in the right place.
The total length of the bracelet is 103 cm.
I made it quite long so that it can fit several types of wrists, for men and women I then brushed the metal. Matte finish and slightly oxidized.
As we currently dwell in Mexico, provide a period of 2 to 5 weeks to receive your order. Thank you for taking this information into account before ordering in our shop (please, read the complete conditions of shipping here).
