Beaten copper, African cultures bracelet in copper

It is made of pure copper.

This copper bracelet set is inspired by the cultures of copper in Africa. These African civilizations always fascinate me by their mastery of copper and objects they could achieve with this metal, sometimes making me a little jealous.
Copper has occupied a very important place in many African cultures. He had some more valuable than gold. It is found from the time of ancient Egypt on the continent, about 2686-2181 BC in Nubia.
It takes the form of a reliquary (eg Mahongwe or Ambete in Gabon) of currency, ceremonial weapon (Songye of Congo), jewelry...
It must be said that copper and its light color fascinates me particularly in contrast to a dark skin.

This combo is made of 4 copper bracelets. They are soldered with sterling silver and then hammered. The bracelets were then gently brushed, and show shiny and matte parts so to show a rustic and industrial effect. They are simple and will be perfect to wear every day.

These bracelets are around 2.5 inches diameter. If you’d like a wider diameter, please convo me to check if it is possible.

As we currently dwell in Mexico, provide a period of 2 to 5 weeks to receive your order. Thank you for taking this information into account before ordering in our shop (please, read the complete conditions of shipping here).

I hope you will love this jewel as much as I enjoyed creating it.
