JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
This solid sterling silver ring is inspired by the world of poet Charles Baudelaire, an emblematic figure of dark romanticism and symbolism. Bold and striking at 20 mm wide, it features a lush botanical design composed of intertwining stems, leaves, and flowers, all structured around a discreetly architectural cross motif. This central symbol evokes both tormented spirituality and the hidden order of things — themes dear to the author of The Flowers of Evil.
The finely engraved botanical patterns recall the ornamental aesthetic of the 19th century, a time when nature was seen not only as a source of inspiration, but also as a mirror of the human soul. One finds here the spirit of late romanticism, tinged with spleen, where exoticism, dreamlike imagery, and sensuality intertwine in a delicate balance.
This ring embodies a worldview — that of an era when poetry sought to explore the invisible through the forms of the visible. It will appeal to lovers of literature, romantic art, symbolism, and stylized nature. Designed for both men and women, it speaks to those drawn to the mysteries of plant life, the depth of poetry, and the inner echoes of Baudelairean romanticism.
