JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
Cybele, an ode to majesty and eternal femininity, is revealed through these Greek arabesque earrings crafted in silver.
These earrings are inspired by the goddess Cybele, of Phrygian origin, who transcended the boundaries of Greek mythology to enter the Roman pantheon. In Greek tradition, Cybele embodies the guardian of knowledge and the riches of the earth, the mother of the gods, a symbol of the indomitable force of nature and fertility. She is sometimes called the "Great Mother" (Magna Mater), celebrated for her vital energy, her connection to the cycles of nature, and her protective role.
The delicately curved and lobed outline of these earrings evokes the architecture and arches of the Orient, the gateways to the goddess's homelands. Inside, the crafted motif reveals a profusion of details inspired by the lushness of wild vegetation. Arabesques, volutes, and spirals unfold like roots and vines, recalling the fertility of the earth, the lush forests, and the vitality of the elements. These undulating lines also suggest the fluidity of water, the breath of the wind, and the infinite movement of life.
