Helix, nautilus snail earrings in sterling silver

The "Hélix" earrings captivate with their evocative name, borrowed from ancient Greek, where it means "spiral." This shape, characteristic of the snail or nautilus shell, embodies a universal symbol of fertility, renewal, and resurrection.

Since antiquity, the spiral has fascinated civilizations around the world. It appears in shells, galaxies, animal horns, plants, and even in the whirlpools of water and wind. It expresses the infinite cyclical movement of life, growth, evolution, and the connection between the infinitely small and the infinitely large. In many cultures, the spiral also represents the spiritual path: an inward journey toward self-knowledge and harmony with nature.

Some creations from our workshop pay tribute to this timeless form. The snail, for its part, illustrates the wise slowness of living beings. Through its measured progress and attachment to the earth, it teaches patience, perseverance, and trust in the natural rhythm of things.

Its shell, both refuge and fortress, embodies protection, safety, and the necessary retreat before renewal. Through its cycles of withdrawal and emergence, the snail reminds us that sometimes we must take shelter to be reborn stronger, like the nautilus, which continues to grow by creating new chambers in its shell. Each spiral becomes a symbol of a milestone reached, a lesson learned, and a new expansion of life.

The Hélix earrings capture this very essence of life. Their delicate silhouettes are inspired by the snail and the nautilus, with shells finely engraved with triangular patterns that evoke the inner partitions of the shell.

A matching pendant with the same nautilus motif, called "Nautiloid," is also available to extend this symbolism of the spiral and the sea.
