Soul gate, Slavic ring in sterling silver

The "Soul Gate" ring is a creation inspired by the magnificent traditional embroidery of Slavic garments, true treasures of symbols and protection. These richly adorned embroideries featured a wide variety of motifs, from representations of animals and plants to more abstract geometric shapes. Each motif carried meaning, a discreet wish or prayer woven into the thread.

Bright colors, especially red on a white background, dominated these ornaments. Red, the color of fire and blood, was believed to carry vital energy and protective power. It warded off evil spirits and brought luck, love, and fertility. In popular tradition, women embroidered these patterns themselves on collars, sleeves, or hems to protect the body and soul, placing each stitch with intention and devotion.

Slavic embroideries often contained hidden messages, understood only by the initiated. They were a sacred language, a shield of symbols woven to repel dark forces. Their protective power was even stronger when made by a loved one, as love intertwined with prayer in every thread.

Our ring captures this ancient spirit through a finely engraved geometric pattern of rhombuses, framed by hooks reminiscent of the protective borders found in Slavic textiles. These motifs evoke symbolic gateways placed by the ancients between the visible and invisible worlds — the gates of the soul, guardians of inner light.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1.3 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
