The Olmecs flourished along the Gulf Coast of Mexico, in the Basin of Mexico, and along the Pacific Coast. This pendant is a faithful reproduction of a pre-Hispanic Olmec seal or stamp from San Andres Tuxtla, located in the state of Veracruz.
