Creative power, Olmec hand necklace in sterling silver
Creative power is a pendant engraved with an Olmec prehispanic pattern. It represents a hand which palm shows a spiral.
This ideogram is quite common in Mesoamerica for Mayas, Aztecs, Totonacs…
The hand is the symbol of a creative power, real or magical. The spiral refers to life and death and to our mortal and spiritual journey.
This pattern is the reproduction of a seal or a stamp coming from “San Andres Tuxtla”.
Metal: sterling silver.
Dimensions: about 2.5 cm x 3.9 cm or 0.98 inches x 1.53 inches.
Length of the necklace: about 90 cm.
