JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
Do you know these sumptuous embroideries from Central Asia? The word “suzani” comes from Persian and means “needle.” These hand-embroidered textiles, often made in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, were traditionally created by brides-to-be as part of their dowry and offered to the groom on their wedding day. The floral, solar, or geometric patterns decorating the suzanis carried blessings: prosperity, fertility, love, and spiritual protection.
These earrings, inspired by this ancestral tradition, feature two silver discs finely engraved with spirals, universal symbols of growth, evolution, and the continuity of life. At the center of each disc shines a round ruby, a stone of fire and passion, whose deep red radiates like the beating heart of the embroidery. Ruby, a very ancient precious stone, is also associated with vitality, sincere love, and protection against negative energies.
Thus, the “Suzani” earrings combine the delicate art of Central Asian embroidery with the symbolic power of ruby, creating jewelry that evokes heritage, love, and the passing of beauty through generations.
