6° per minute, steampunk clockwork earrings in silver and labradorite

The 6° per minute earrings are part of the unique world of steampunk, the aesthetic and literary movement that imagines a world where the industrial revolution continued based on steam and visible cogs. Here, mechanics are highlighted in a style close to Victorian elegance, featuring complex gears, scrolls, and mechanical poetry.

The shape of these earrings evokes a violin or cello, whose curves are defined by stylized gears and arabesque ironwork.

At their end, a gray-blue labradorite bead hangs like a drop of solidified steam. Its iridescent reflections, somewhere between steel gray and deep blue, recall the fumaroles of steam boilers, industrial mists, and the spectral glow of old machinery.

The name 6° per minute refers to the exact movement of the minute hand on a mechanical clock face: 6 degrees per minute, or one complete revolution—360 degrees—in one hour. This mathematical and poetic dimension here becomes a symbol of measured movement, the inevitable passage of time, and the watchmaking precision that governs the steampunk universe.

The very shape of the buckle, inspired by this minute hand, embodies this discreet but constant rhythm, this invisible cadence that structures our lives. Each minute becomes a step forward, a precisely measured dance of metal, a step toward the unknown.
