Isis, Egyptian earrings in silver and labradorite

The Isis earrings are a tribal-style creation inspired by the splendour and mysteries of Ancient Egypt, paying homage to the shapes, beliefs, and symbols of this fascinating civilisation. They invite you on a journey through time, to the banks of the Nile and the temple walls adorned with hieroglyphs.

Each earring is composed of a long stem adorned with small silver tubes, finely engraved with solar and vegetal motifs. These patterns evoke the monumental temple columns where Egyptians gathered to honour their gods and goddesses—sacred places where stone and light seemed to converse.

This elongated stem flows into a half-circle of textured silver, etched with fine radiating lines like a stylised sun. At the heart of this radiance lies a round cabochon of labradorite, its colors shifting from light blue to deep blue, sprinkled with black and grey inclusions. Mysterious and captivating, this stone resembles a fragment of sky, evoking the celestial vault that the Egyptians associated with the goddess Nut and the cosmic cycles.

The overall shape of the earrings also recalls the sumptuous fans used to cool pharaohs and queens—symbols of power and prestige depicted in ancient frescoes and sculptures.

They are named after Isis, one of the greatest figures in Egyptian mythology. Queen and goddess, sorceress and healer, she was often represented with a solar disc between two cow horns. Guardian of the dead, goddess of motherhood, and wisdom, Isis embodies feminine power, sacred knowledge, and unconditional love. One can easily imagine her wearing these earrings, gleaming like a sun against the Egyptian sky.

 

Metal: sterling silver (925).

Stone: labradorite.

Stone color: light blue, grey.

Dimensions: 1.30 in (3.3 cm) long.

The hooks are also handmade in silver and soldered at the back.

Finish: polished, shiny.
