JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
The Iris ring is inspired by Art Nouveau and celebrates the majesty of the iris flower, a timeless symbol of beauty, femininity, and harmony. This elegant flower, with its graceful petals and curved lines, has spanned the ages as a muse for artists, poets, and jewelry artisans.
The iris has captivated the imagination of many civilizations, from Antiquity to the present day, evoking a multitude of symbols linked to royalty, purity, and spirituality. In the lavish era of Art Nouveau, it reigned supreme under the pen of Alfons Mucha, whose sensual floral illustrations defined an entire style. This ring pays homage to this era of elegance and renewal, where nature and woman came together in a single artistic impulse.
Every detail of the Iris ring has been designed as a miniature work. Its finely chiseled frieze of small flowers, set in a Victorian Baroque frame, evokes the delicacy and grace of ancient creations. It is a floral-inspired jewel that captures the romantic and refined spirit of Art Nouveau.
In Greek mythology, Iris is the goddess of the rainbow and the messenger of the gods, connecting earth and sky, humans and deities. Through her light, she embodies the connection between worlds, communication, and hope.
In the language of flowers, each color of iris carries a particular meaning. The blue iris brings good news and symbolizes hope. The white iris evokes purity and tenderness of feeling. The yellow iris expresses joy and passion, while the purple iris reflects wisdom and respect. Finally, the orange iris embodies inner fire and desire.
