Vaidurya, tropical paradise bracelet in silver, labradorite and chrysoprase

The name Vaidurya comes from an ancient Sanskrit word once used to describe precious stones with mystical reflections. In Buddhist texts, Vaidurya often refers to lapis lazuli. This name has been revived here to convey the natural and almost otherworldly glow of chrysoprase, the luminous heart of this creation.

This rare semi-precious stone displays delicate shades ranging from translucent green to milky blue, reminiscent of the color gradations seen in a tropical lagoon from above—shallow waters, white foam over coral, sandy tones, and the gentle depth of the sea floor. The freeform cabochon, with near-hexagonal contours, seems to encapsulate a fragment of a distant, sunlit island.

The 925 sterling silver setting has been deliberately pared down to highlight the stone’s natural landscape. On the back, a circular cut-out has been hand-carved beneath the stone, allowing light to pass through like clear water in an atoll, enhancing the depth and radiance of the chrysoprase.

The bracelet consists of two fine chains, each attached to a ring, which meet at a central ring fitted with a small extension chain for a tailored fit. As a final touch, a faceted labradorite dangle catches the light with every movement, adding a shimmering, mystical accent to your wrist.
