Abundance, bison totem ring in sterling silver

The Abundance ring features the stylized head of a buffalo, cut and engraved in a slab of sterling silver in a tribal-inspired design. It rests upon a textured band, hand-punched with symbolic motifs and adorned with a small silver sphere opposite the totem. The buffalo’s face, both serene and powerful, is framed by leaves and flowers — a tribute to the generous, fertile, and ever-giving Earth.

Among the Native peoples of the Great Plains, the buffalo is the ultimate totem of abundance. It provided everything: meat for nourishment, hides for clothing and shelter, sinews for bows, and bones for tools. But such total giving required reverence in return — through ritual, gratitude, and respect. Every hunt began with prayer. Every part of the animal was used, and every use was an offering back to life. To wear its image is to carry a profound teaching: true abundance is rooted in balance and gratitude.

The ring band is marked with three powerful symbols, amplifying the spiritual essence of the totem:

• A circle, representing the full moon — a symbol of fertility, intuition, and the completion of cycles. In Native American traditions, the full moon is linked to the sacred feminine, to healing, to the ancestors, and to protective spirits.
• A radiant half-circle, evoking the setting sun — a moment of passage, of wisdom, and transmission. It speaks of transitions, of endings that hold within them the promise of new beginnings. In many tribes, sunset is a sacred time, often connected with prayer and stillness.
• An arrow, symbolizing both the hunt and focused intention. It recalls that buffalo strength is not wild or aimless, but purposeful. It invites you to walk your path with clarity, courage, and direction.

This ring may not be magical — but it carries an ancient message: Abundance is everywhere — in the earth, in the sky, in what we offer and what we receive. Even when it seems absent, it lives quietly in the breath of the world.
