Divine star, Mayan tribal sun ring in sterling silver

The sun is one of the central elements in the beliefs and mythologies of pre-Hispanic civilizations of the Americas. A symbol of light and warmth, it embodies the eternal cycle of life and the source of all energy on earth. This divine celestial body generates birth, breathes vital energy, and makes the heart of every living being beat. In ancient traditions, it was essential to maintain a harmonious relationship with the sun so that life could endure and thrive.

Named Divine Star, this silver ring features a frieze depicting a Mayan glyph from Mexico. This sacred glyph, used by one of the greatest Native American civilizations, represents both the sun and the stars. It embodies the intimate connection between the cosmos and the earth, between light and darkness, between life and death.

The same Mayan motif can also be found on a narrower ring, reducing the band from 0.31 in (8 mm) to 0.24 in (6 mm), called Sacred Star, offering a refined alternative while maintaining the same symbolic intensity.
