The ring “On the other side” presents itself as a gateway to the unknown, an invitation to cross the invisible boundaries of everyday life and explore what lies behind the veil of appearances. It reminds us that even when we feel trapped by our certainties or habits, there is always a passage toward other horizons, toward a broader reality rich in answers and possibilities.

At the heart of this creation, an oval labradorite unfolds its iridescent blue-gray reflections, evoking an ancient mirror steeped in mystery. Its luminous flashes, crossed by darker lines, recall the fractures of existence which, far from diminishing its beauty, reveal its depth. Set on an oval plate adorned with fine radiating striations like an antique frame, the stone becomes a window to the other world, a portal between shadow and light.

The band is engraved with ferns, ancestral plants that carry legends of renewal, luck, and guarded secrets. In many traditions, particularly Celtic ones, the fern is associated with rebirth and hidden knowledge, sometimes even considered a magical plant capable of revealing what is unseen. Here, their fronds rise toward the light, suggesting a path of growth, elevation, and inner discovery.

The ring also evokes the wondrous universe of Lewis Carroll in Through the Looking-Glass. As in this initiatory tale, the mirror becomes a passage to a fantastical world, here nestled within a setting of woodland ferns. It opens the way to an inner journey, a quest for wonder and mystery in which every reflection becomes a promise of escape and revelation.
