Inspired by a fossilized ammonite cabochon, it reminds us that the sea holds within its depths the silent memories of the living world, etched in spirals within the petrified shells of the past.

This drop-shaped cabochon displays earthy tones of brown, beige, grey, and black—like mineral layers slowly deposited over the course of millennia. It is set on a slightly larger silver base of similar shape, cradling it like a natural case sculpted by the elements.

The setting combines a classic flat bezel with three decorative prongs that enhance the piece’s archaic, talismanic quality. These claw-like details evoke ancient artifacts recovered from shipwrecks—forgotten relics from sailors or long-lost civilizations submerged by time. The deeply oxidized, crenellated edge is deliberately irregular, suggesting the erosion of centuries, as if the pendant had rested for ages in the salted abyss.
