The “Medieval Illumination” ring is a customizable piece of jewelry inspired by the refined art of the Middle Ages.
Illumination, a precious art practiced in the scriptoria by monk-scribes, consisted in embellishing manuscripts with ornate initials, floral motifs, stylized foliage, or fantastical creatures. These decorations, often created using gold leaf or natural pigments, gave the text a unique spiritual and visual dimension.

In this piece, the silver band features a square shape engraved with a medieval-style illuminated initial of your choice. Each letter becomes a tribute to the art of calligraphy and the visual language of ancient manuscripts.

Production time: 5 business days before shipping

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
