JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
“Filicophyta,” the scientific name for ferns, evokes the secret, hushed world of the forest undergrowth where light dances among delicate fronds. An ancient plant, the fern symbolizes life and growth through the perfect spiral of its fiddleheads, representing renewal and eternal cycles.
In the language of flowers, the fern expresses sincerity, honesty, and fascination, while also carrying wishes of luck and prosperity. To offer a fern is to seal a bond of loyalty and truth, whether in friendship or love.
Rooted in Celtic beliefs, the fern was a talisman of protection, purification, and rebirth. It was even believed to hold mysterious powers: to render one invisible, ward off evil spirits, or guide the way to hidden treasures.
The “Filicophyta” ring features a finely engraved band of unfolding ferns, captured in their graceful movement. At its center, an oval chrysoprase with soft sea-green hues recalls the tender, soothing foliage of the plant. A stone of serenity and renewal, chrysoprase accompanies its wearer throughout the day like a promise of inner peace and harmony with nature.
