We hand-sawed this silver heart while thinking of the pain and passions of Frida Kahlo, the great Mexican artist whose life was profoundly marked by hardship. Her existence was steeped in suffering—physical injuries from a serious bus accident, chronic pain, turbulent love, and deep inner solitude. Yet she transformed her sorrow into powerful, vibrant, and visceral art.

This pendant represents an almost anatomical heart, crafted as an offering to Frida’s raw and radiant honesty. It echoes a line she once wrote in a love letter: “I love you more than my own skin”—a declaration of rare intensity, just like the woman behind it.

This piece symbolizes deep love, the kind that transcends the body and touches the soul. It speaks of courage, resilience, passionate love, and unfiltered truth. It is a tribute to the artist, the woman, and to all those who love with their whole heart, unreservedly.
