“The Marsh That Reflected the Stars” is a delicately charming ring, with a silver band engraved with a traditional Japanese pattern known as Kikkō. This hexagonal motif, inspired by the turtle shell, is associated in Japanese aesthetics with longevity, inner strength, and protection. At its center bloom stylized flowers of the water caltrop (Trapa natans), also called water chestnut—a floating-leaf aquatic plant that thrives in the still waters of marshes and ponds. Together, these symbols express uprightness, noble-heartedness, patient wisdom, and perseverance—qualities often honored in traditional Japanese tales.

This ring is also available on its own under the name “Kikkō”.

A boulder opal, simply set on a small silver plate just slightly wider than the stone, completes this quiet universe. The opal reveals subtle iridescence when touched by sunlight, as if tiny stars were flickering within its depths. These delicate gleams recall the celestial sparkles reflected in the calm waters of a night-time marsh, where the floating leaves of water chestnuts drift peacefully.

This ring embodies a gentle connection between earth, water, and sky—between stability, dreaming, and contemplation.
