Nympheale, lotus water lily ring in sterling silver

The Nympheale ring is inspired by the serene vision of water lilies floating gently on the surface of a pond, drifting slowly with the ripples caused by the insects and fish that inhabit it.

On a hand-hammered silver band, we have depicted three stages of the life cycle of this iconic aquatic plant, as a tribute to the passage of time in its softest, most silent form. Each stage is represented by a small silver tier, slightly overlapping the next, forming a discreet and organic narrative:

• The first disk shows a young leaf still curled, slowly unfolding at the water’s surface.
• The second, adorned with a small silver sphere, evokes the lotus bud about to bloom, full of promise.
• The final tier represents a mature water lily leaf, fully open, with the first cracks hinting at the approaching end of its cycle — an elegant acceptance of time.

An aquatic plant with powerful symbolism, the water lily is a universal emblem of peace, calm, and purity. It crosses murky waters to flourish in the light, weightless and silent — a metaphor for rebirth and serenity.
