The "Dream of a summer night" brooch is a custom creation centered around a stunning Mexican cantera opal. Our client selected this gemstone from our online catalog of gemstones, choosing the one that resonated most with them, and we highlighted it according to their precise directions.

This Mexican opal, set in its white matrix, displays captivating flashes of red, orange, blue, and green. It evokes a lush garden of multicolored flowers and the warmth of its Mexican origin.

We mounted this stone on an irregularly cut silver plate, giving it an ethereal look, reminiscent of a state of half-sleep, dream, and reverie. A crescent moon was soldered to the composition, recalling warm summer nights. Leaves and a stylized cicada complete the scene, symbolizing the summer atmosphere.

The stone is framed by large triangular leaves, resembling a flower bud in bloom, a treasure gradually revealing itself to our gaze.

The opal’s shimmering hues and the botanical motif truly evoke a warm summer night in a blooming garden, infused with the sweet scents of nectar. This brooch is thus a poetic celebration of natural beauty and the magic of summer nights.

Dimensions: 1.57 x 1.18 in (4 x 3 cm).

The back pin is very sturdy and is also practical to fasten.
