Estrella, night sky ring in silver and fire opal

The "Estrella" ring is a custom-made piece designed to enhance a stunning Mexican cantera fire opal, carefully selected from our collection of gemstones.

We opted for a simple setting to maximize the exposure of the opal’s iridescent oval cabochon. The setting delicately surrounds only the milky white matrix, leaving ample space for the translucent layer to reveal its mesmerizing play of colors. Depending on the viewing angle, this opal shimmers with brilliant flashes of red, green, and blue, evoking the depth and wonder of a starry night sky.

Its name, "Estrella", means "star" in Spanish—an homage to its Mexican origins and celestial appearance. Like a night sky scattered with twinkling stars and streaked with the colors of distant galaxies, this ring captures the light and makes it dance across its surface. Each movement of the hand unveils new reflections, making this gemstone as captivating as a cosmic landscape in constant transformation.
