Under the glow of the pole, boreal ripple ring in silver and boulder opal

The "Under the Glow of the Pole" ring is inspired by a magnificent blue boulder opal, reminiscent of the Northern Lights, that almost unimaginable natural phenomenon we all dream of witnessing one day. This opal displays fine lines resembling streaks of light, harmonized with the captivating blue of the stone, perfectly capturing the essence of the auroras. Although this opal does not show flashes or play-of-color, the pattern it displays remains equally mesmerizing, like a mineral painting.

The oblong cabochon is delicately set on a small plate that follows its shape, with a slight textured rim of fine lines, evoking the soft and diffused radiance of light. The opal rests on a band engraved with waves, a motif available in our shop under the name "the sea." This choice of design evokes the Northern Lights appearing over the marine horizon, creating a poetic connection between sky and sea, between the depth of the waves and the infinite expanse of the heavens.

 

 

This ring is a celebration of the beauty and magic of the Northern Lights, offering the wearer a piece of this dazzling natural spectacle. It evokes a polar landscape where lights dance across the sky, illuminating the darkness with their mystical ripples.

 

Material: 925 sterling silver.

Stone: boulder opal.

Stone color: blue, light blue, dark blue, black.

Band width: 0.39 in (10 mm).

Size: US 9.5 (EU 60.5). Due to the width of the band, it will best suit a finger size US 9–9.5 (EU 59–59.5).
