The Triskel is a ring that features the Celtic motif of three spirals, with its most common interpretation being that of the sun’s journey from sunrise to zenith to sunset. It is also associated with the Trinity, often representing the three aspects of the Celtic goddess: the maiden, the mother, and the crone.

The word "Triskel," also known as "Triskèle," comes from the Greek "Triskelês," meaning "with three wings." This symbol dates back to the Neolithic era and can be found in various cultures around the world and across different time periods.

A synthesis of the various interpretations of the Triskel across cultures could be:

• Cycle of Life, Death, and Rebirth: The Triskel is often interpreted as representing the eternal cycle of life, death, and rebirth. The three spirals may symbolize the beginning, middle, and end of life, or the three phases of the moon (waxing, full moon, waning).
• The Three Elements: In some cultures, the Triskel is associated with the three fundamental elements of nature: water, fire, and earth. Each spiral may represent one of these elements, or all three together.
• The Three Worlds: In Celtic mythology, the Triskel is sometimes interpreted as representing the three worlds: the underworld (the past), the earthly world (the present), and the celestial world (the future).
• The Trinity: The Triskel is also associated with the Christian Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), although this interpretation is more recent and less common.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1.3 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
