The druid’s ring, Celtic ring in silver, brass and garnet

The Druid’s Ring is a custom-made piece, designed around a Celtic-themed engraving imagined by our client. To create it, he combined two of our signature models: Stonehenge and Sherlock Holmes.

The band comes from the Stonehenge model, a ring with a distinctly Celtic style. Its intricate patterns of interwoven knots represent infinity, the harmony of the natural world, and the interconnectedness of all things. These interlacing designs are interrupted by a stylized moon — a powerful symbol in Druidic tradition — celebrating the strength of rituals performed under the night sky, in communion with the stars and the moon. In Celtic belief, the moon is also linked to femininity, hidden knowledge, and the cycles of life, enhancing the sacred aura of this piece.

Our client wanted to elevate this design with a striking gemstone: a trillion-cut garnet, taken from the steampunk-inspired Sherlock Holmes ring. This deep, blood-red garnet symbolizes vital force, passion, and protection. In certain ancient cultures, garnet was seen as a fiery stone of energy, believed to ward off negative influences. Its triangular cut adds an additional layer of symbolism: the triad of body, mind, and soul — or the three realms of Celtic cosmology — the world of the gods, the world of the living, and the world of the ancestors.

Inside the band, we engraved a Latin quotation chosen by the client, lending this piece an esoteric and timeless touch. Latin — a language of knowledge and mystery — deepens the aura of wisdom and power that emanates from this ring.

This combination gave birth to a unique piece of jewelry, almost talismanic in nature, where the fiery garnet converses with ancient Celtic knots to evoke magic, memory, and ancestral Druidic knowledge. It feels like a ring from another era, alive with stories and legends. To me, it evokes the legacy of the Druids, their intimate connection with nature, the stars, and cosmic cycles — wisdom as deep and mysterious as the garnet’s dark reflections.

One could easily imagine this ring on the hand of Merlin, the legendary enchanter of King Arthur — master of the elements, guardian of ancient secrets, and walker between worlds.
