INSPIRATION
The Inca agate is a fascinating semi-precious stone, renowned for its vibrant colors that range from white and blue-gray to warmer hues like yellow, red, orange, and vermilion. Its bands, often displaying contrasting colors such as red, orange, yellow, and purple, give it a mesmerizing appearance, reminiscent of the colorful textiles and landscapes of the Peruvian Andes.
This stone originates from the Andes mountains in Peru and is named after the Pre-Hispanic Inca civilization, thus symbolizing a connection to a rich cultural and historical heritage. Recently discovered and introduced to the market in 2012, Inca agate comes from four distinct deposits. It is often found in nodule form, measuring between 4 to 10 cm in diameter. Due to the frequent presence of fractures and druse formations, selecting and cutting this stone into high-quality cabochons requires significant expertise, which contributes to its relatively high cost. Despite these challenges, it has quickly gained popularity among collectors and remains one of the most sought-after stones on the market.

Due to its recent exploitation, Inca agate does not yet have a rich history of associated legends or beliefs.
