Lyobaa, romance from Oaxaca pendant in silver and ceramic

Lyobaa is a unique pendant born from a fragment of ancient memory. It was crafted from a shard of ceramic found in the mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico, by one of our clients during a walk. This fragment, a very old remnant of Zapotec culture, carries within it the imprint of an immemorial time.

For the person who entrusted us with the creation of this jewel, this shard embodies the passage of time and the permanence of the essence of things. Like true love that endures through the years, it preserves an intact truth, an unalterable flame, despite wear and trials. Lyobaa thus becomes a symbol of fidelity, continuity, and inner strength.

To respect and highlight this precious fragment, we chose to set it in the most discreet way possible. A fine silver band delicately follows its contours, allowing its full texture and history to appear. This space was used to engrave a message chosen by the person to whom the pendant was destined, adding an intimate and personal dimension to the jewel.

Held by small prongs, the shard reveals its surface darkened by time, polished by centuries, and still marked by red traces. Every detail recalls the hand of the Zapotecs, a people of builders, poets, and mystics, who saw in art and objects a bridge between the living and their ancestors.
