INSPIRATION
The "Maia" necklace is shaped around a large elongated oval prehnite, set horizontally. This translucent stone, with a light green matrix reminiscent of nature reborn in spring, reveals black inclusions in lines or dots. At times they evoke delicate grass stems or fragile wheat stalks, at others seeds carried by the gentle spring breeze, ready to sow the earth and spread life. The prehnite seems to contain within it the awakening of the vegetal world, like a talisman carrying renewal.
For this symbol of rebirth and fertility, we chose to name the necklace "Maia," in homage to the Roman goddess of spring, the nurturing mother and protector of plant growth. In ancient Rome, the month of May was dedicated to her, and she was celebrated as the dispenser of vitality, germination, and prosperity. Wearing this necklace is like surrounding oneself with the force of an ancient ritual, the radiance of an offering to the divinity of renewal.
The prehnite cabochon is set with simplicity on an openwork base, allowing light to pass through and reveal all its mysterious inclusions. It hangs by a double ring from another pendant, giving it great freedom of movement and an almost dancing effect, recalling the natural cycles and vital momentum of spring.
This second pendant represents the temple dedicated to Maia. It is composed of three tubes fused together, gradually narrowing to form ascending steps. They symbolize the path to the sanctuary, the elevation of the earth towards the divine. At its summit lies a small flower, both offering and emblem of fertility, placed to honor the goddess. Behind it, a large ring represents the spring sun, source of warmth and life, whose light blesses the seeds and awakens nature. It is to this solar ring that the necklace is attached, uniting earth, sky, and divinity in the same harmony.
