In Chilean mythology, this mysterious bird feeds on gold and silver, making it a perfect subject to be represented in this precious metal. At night, its wings shimmer with metallic reflections, resembling the light of treasures hidden deep within the earth, and its eyes glow with an enigmatic brilliance.

Considered a good-luck bird by miners, the Alicanto symbolizes fortune, wealth, and prosperity.
