Dawn chorus, flower and bird earrings in silver and opal

As the sun begins to rise early in the morning, nature awakens and the birds begin to chirp and sing. They join together in a true dawn chorus, a song that reminds us it is time to rise and that a brand-new day lies ahead. Since ancient times, dawn has symbolized renewal, hope, and new beginnings, while the birds' song accompanies the return of the light.

These trapezoid-shaped earrings depict two birds standing on the ground, singing together at the first light of dawn, at the foot of a flower with a tall stem that seems to rise, carried upward by their song. The thick stem is adorned with leaves and, where the earrings end at the fastening, the base of the flower, the floral receptacle, appears, while its petals remain hidden, leaving plenty of room for the imagination: a sunflower, a steppe lily, a bird of paradise, or any other flower born from your dreams.

This intentionally unfinished flower invites everyone to imagine their own story. It evokes the promise of a future bloom, the mystery of nature, and the beauty of what remains yet to be discovered.

A beautiful cabochon of Peruvian pink opal, in a soft pastel shade, is set at the base of the plant like a seed planted in the ground, perhaps by the birds, giving birth to our secret flower. It recalls the gentleness of the waking morning, when the first rays of light still softly illuminate the earth. With its milky, luminous hues, the pink opal adds a touch of delicacy to this botanical scene and enhances the peaceful atmosphere of this piece of jewelry.
