JEWELRY
INSPIRATION
The "Huyana" earrings reveal an elegant silhouette in the shape of a flared water drop, a symbol of the life-giving rain that nourishes the earth and brings forth renewal. Carefully engraved, the silver plate is adorned with a delicate botanical pattern of small leaves and petals, echoing the vitality that water breathes into every blade of grass and every flower, like a gentle breath of rebirth.
The deep celestial blue lapis lazuli beads sway gracefully beneath the cloud, suspended from fine silver chains, evoking the fluid motion of raindrops falling from the sky. Their intense glow recalls the night sky streaked with flashes of light, linking the ocean to the firmament. With every movement, they catch the light, as if capturing a fragment of a storm or the sparkle of a star.
Huyana, a name of Native American origin, resonates like a sacred chant. In the Mi’kmaq language, Huyana means "falling rain" or "she falls with the rain." In tradition, rain is seen as a blessing — a sign of fertility, abundance, and purification, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life and the nurturing earth. It soothes, cleanses, renews, and prepares the soil for blossoming.
