In Saint-Exupéry’s tale, the Little Prince explains that he has three volcanoes on his tiny planet: two active and one extinct. He takes care of them regularly, cleaning them each morning in a quiet act of daily attention. One of them even serves to warm his breakfast. Before leaving his planet, he makes sure to clean the volcanoes one last time, knowing that neglect could lead to an eruption.

This simple gesture takes on a deeper meaning: it represents how we must tend to our emotions, our anger, and our inner impulses, so they do not overwhelm us.
