Templar, medieval cross ring in sterling silver

The "Templar" ring is inspired by the medieval era and the fascinating history of knighthood, particularly through the Crusades, where knights distinguished themselves by their courage and devotion. Among the chivalric orders that marked the Middle Ages, the Templars hold a special place. This religious and military order, originating from French Christian knighthood, played a key role during the 12th and 13th centuries.

The Order of the Templars escorted and protected pilgrims traveling to the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, actively participating in the battles of the Crusades and the Iberian Reconquista within the Catholic kingdom of Spain. After the fall of the Holy Land with the siege of Acre in 1291, the Order became entangled in the power struggles between the Avignon papacy and King Philip IV of France. It was ultimately dissolved by Pope Clement V on March 22, 1312. The tragic end of the Templars in France has inspired many legends surrounding their treasure, the Holy Grail, the documents of Herod’s Temple, and the Ark of the Covenant.

This ring is adorned with a frieze of pattée and anchor crosses, an emblematic symbol of the Order of the Temple. At the intersection points of the crosses, a delicate flower is engraved, adding a touch of elegance and refinement to this historic symbol. The "Templar" ring evokes not only knighthood, duty, and courage but also the adventure and mysteries surrounding one of the most famous Christian orders of medieval history.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
