Adélaïde, medieval ring in silver and star pink sapphire

Adélaïde is a ring deeply inspired by medieval aesthetics. The band is delicately engraved with a motif reminiscent of the peacock feather — a symbol of beauty, nobility, and mystery throughout the ages. In the Middle Ages, the peacock was considered a sacred and awe-inspiring creature, often associated with immortality, resurrection, and royal majesty. Its iridescent feathers, resembling a multitude of eyes, were seen as reflections of divine vigilance and universal knowledge. A symbol of wealth and refinement, the peacock appeared in illuminated manuscripts, grand tapestries, and even as a prized dish at the banquets of noble courts.

To enhance this aura of nobility and powerful symbolism, the ring is set with a lab-grown star rose sapphire. This shimmering gemstone reveals a delicate star under direct light — a phenomenon known as asterism — and is said to carry energies of love, happiness, and sincere passion. Sapphire, in all its hues, has long been associated with truth, wisdom, and loyalty — cardinal virtues in medieval times, especially among kings and knights. Often referred to as "the stone of kings," it was believed to attract divine favor and protect against envy and betrayal.

The rose sapphire, rarer and imbued with gentle romantic overtones, adds a timeless softness to the ring. As the birthstone for the month of September, it also offers a deeply personal and symbolic meaning, making Adélaïde a perfect gift to commemorate a birthday, a baptism, or any milestone — particularly for a mother whose child was born during this month.

Adélaïde is more than a ring — it is a modern relic, a tribute to the enduring symbols of the Middle Ages, a talisman of light and love cast in silver.
