Draconis, dragon star earrings in silver and zircon

Draconis, or the Dragon constellation, is one of the 88 constellations in the sky. It is made of a long chain of stars that winds across the sky and stretches along part of the Little Bear. Its shape resembles a long, undulating dragon, like a celestial serpent silently watching over the night.

This constellation gives its name to this pair of earrings, each composed of two stars: a smaller one from which a larger one is suspended, both with 8 branches.

The small stars are set with pink zircon cabochons, while the larger ones are set with fuchsia zircon cabochons. These colors recall the fire, warmth, and fiery spirit of the dragon, but also a vibrant, living, almost magical energy. Pink and fuchsia also evoke passion, the heart, and inner strength.

Like a serpent dragon moving through the sky, these earrings will gently sway at your ears. Their movement recalls a celestial dragon gliding between the stars, free and powerful. They invite you to look up at the sky, to slow down, and to remember that there is no more beautiful spectacle than the stars at nightfall.

The Dragon constellation has been known since Antiquity and appears in many cultures. It surrounds the celestial pole and seems to protect this fixed point in the sky. It is often associated with vigilance, protection, and an ancient force, invisible yet always present.
