North Star, shepherd’s star earrings in silver and amethyst

The North Star, also called Polaris, is the main star of the Ursa Minor constellation. For centuries, it has guided travelers, sailors, and explorers thanks to its nearly motionless position in the night sky. Visible as a fixed point among the stars, it symbolizes direction, hope, stability, and spiritual guidance. In many traditions, the North Star represents the light that helps one find their way through darkness.

Here, the North Star takes the form of an eight-pointed star at the center of which is set an amethyst cabochon. The deep violet reflections of this stone create a soft, nocturnal, and mysterious atmosphere reminiscent of winter night skies illuminated by the stars.

Around the star, small delicate leaves are stamped into the silver, bringing an organic and botanical dimension to the jewel. Beyond the poetic image of nocturnal light resting upon plants, these earrings evoke two different yet complementary cycles. On one side, the North Star remains fixed and luminous in the sky, symbolizing eternity and constancy. On the other, the leaves recall the cycle of the seasons, the constant transformation of nature, and the renewal that always returns.
