Flower of wisdom, Indian paisley drop ring in silver

The paisley pattern ring, "Flower of Wisdom," is a tribute to the cultural and spiritual richness of India.

If you wander around India, you'll see that flowers are everywhere. The most beautiful, in my humble opinion, and the one that symbolizes this vast country, is the lotus. The lotus is a flower that grows in the mud of the riverbed. From this mud emerges a stem that blooms out of the water, in the light, and opens into a marvelous pink or white flower.
This pretty ring, shaped like a horse saddle or shield, is engraved with an Indian motif made of mandala flowers, which run all the way around the ring.

The mandala flower on the top of the ring represents a blooming lotus seen from above. For me, it represents the flower of wisdom. A small feather closes the back of the ring, soldered to the base.

Metal: sterling silver (925).

Finish: oxidized.

Length: 1.38 in (3.5 cm) at the top, 0.28 in (0.7 cm) at the base.
