Peacock, bird feather earrings in silver and paua

These beautiful earrings represent stylized Peacock feathers, crafted in silver and adorned with iridescent paua cabochons.

These articulated two-part earrings pay tribute to the elegance of the peacock and its hypnotic colors. The upper part features an oval paua cabochon in shades of blue, violet, and black, recalling the shimmering reflections visible on the ocelli of the peacock’s plumage. The cabochon rests on an oval silver plate slightly larger than the stone itself, whose border is textured with small radiant lines. This relief captures the light and further enhances the changing glow of the paua, evoking the vivid colors of the feathers of this majestic bird.

Suspended beneath this first section are two diamond-like shapes engraved with feather motifs radiating from a central circle. These delicate lines recall the long feathers displayed in the peacock’s tail fan, a symbol of splendor and fascination since Antiquity.
