Small gold leaf, warm colored ring in silver and amber

In this season in Mexico, the guayacans (Handroanthus) are in bloom. Their golden-yellow flowers illuminate the landscapes and immediately bring a smile. Their sunny brilliance contrasts beautifully with the deep blue of the March sky. This vivid color also reminds me of the warm hues of autumn in France: forests ablaze with yellow and orange, warming the heart despite the cold and rain.

From this meeting of two seasons and two countries was born the "Small gold leaf" ring. It unites memories of France with current Mexican life. At the center, a yellow-orange amber cabochon reveals shifting shades depending on the light, sometimes golden, sometimes fiery, evoking both autumn leaves and the bright flowers of the guayacan. Amber is a solar stone, associated with vitality, protection, and the energy of the sun.

The platform holding the stone is textured with fine lines reminiscent of sun rays as well as the veins of a leaf. On each side of the amber, a silver leaf adorns the band. It is sometimes the oak leaf, a powerful tree of the French forests, symbolizing endurance, stability, strength, and resilience; and sometimes the guayacan leaf, a radiant tree of Mexico, symbolizing joy, vitality, and optimism. Together, they embody a harmonious union of solidity and light, roots and aspiration.

In the language of flowers, the guayacan expresses joy, renewed energy, and the light that encourages forward movement. The oak recalls inner strength, perseverance, and grounding in the face of challenges. Thus, the "Small gold leaf" is a jewel that carries both the sun and the forest, the warmth of Mexico and the power of the French land.
