Small gold leaf, warm colored ring in silver and amber

During this season in Mexico, the guayacán trees (Handroanthus) burst into bloom. Their golden-yellow flowers light up the landscape and instantly bring a smile to the face. Their radiant, solar brilliance contrasts beautifully with the deep blue of the March sky. This vibrant color also recalls the warm hues of autumn in France, when forests ignite in shades of yellow and orange, warming the heart despite cold and rain.

From this meeting of two seasons and two countries was born the ring “Small gold leaf.” It brings together memories of France and present-day life in Mexico. At its center, a yellow-orange amber cabochon reveals shifting nuances depending on the light, sometimes golden, sometimes glowing and fiery, evoking both autumn leaves and the luminous blossoms of the guayacán.

The setting that holds the stone is textured with fine lines reminiscent of sun rays, but also of the veins of a leaf. On either side of the amber, a silver leaf adorns the band. At times it is the leaf of the oak, the powerful tree of French forests, a symbol of endurance, stability, strength, and resilience; at other times it is the leaf of the guayacán, the radiant tree of Mexico, a symbol of joy, vitality, and optimism. United together, they embody a harmonious alliance between solidity and light, between deep roots and forward momentum.

In the language of flowers, the guayacán expresses joy, renewed energy, and the light that encourages one to move forward. The oak evokes inner strength, perseverance, and grounding in the face of adversity. Thus, “Small gold leaf” is a piece of jewelry that carries both sun and forest, the warmth of Mexico and the enduring strength of the French land.
