Soul gate, Slavic ring in sterling silver

The "Soul gate" ring is a creation inspired by the magnificent traditional embroidery of Slavic clothing. These richly decorated embroideries feature a wide variety of motifs, ranging from figurative representations such as animals and plants to abstract forms such as geometric figures. Bright, bold colors, often red on a white background, were commonly used, as red was believed to possess a special and protective power.

Slavic embroideries often carried hidden messages that only initiates or certain individuals could decipher. Some motifs served as talismans against evil spirits, offering protection to the wearer's soul. These embroideries were strategically placed on the collar, sleeves, and waist of clothing to create a barrier against harmful influences. Their protective power was even stronger when the embroidery was done by a loved one, adding a personal and intimate dimension to the protection.

Our ring features a distinctive geometric pattern, featuring a frieze of diamonds delicately adorned with hooks around its edges. This design evokes traditional Slavic embroidery patterns, transforming an ancient cultural element into a modern piece of jewelry.

Thickness of the ring: this model can be made with thicknesses of 1 mm, 1.3 mm or 1.6 mm. For reference, go to the last photo of the slideshow.

The ring thickness on the model is 1.3 mm.

Important: depending on your finger size, the solder at the back of your ring will show an interruption in the pattern with a plain vertical and in order to keep an overall harmony. Each rind is custom made and each finish will also be custom made (please refer to the example picture at the end of the photo series).
