It is made of sterling silver (925) handmade in my studio. This ring is custom made with the date of your choice from the Maya calendar wheel. The Long Count is the most complete and precise dating system used by the Mayas. In order to be really accurate, they would associate altogether the Tzolkin calendar, the Haab calendar and the Night Lord who would protect the date. This calendar was the main one for the Mayas. The Maya elite used it all the time.
Therefore, we offer you to choose an important date for you to make your custom made ring with Maya glyphs. This date could be: your birthday, your anniversary, an important event date in your life…
This ring is really one of a kind. It is artisan etched. The etching process takes times but the result allows appreciating the intricate and delicate patterns. The bas relief effect is really nice. The deeper part is matte and the upper part has been sanded and polished. Shiny finish. Etching is an artisanal process, which produces a unique design each time I use it. Two pieces with a same design will never be exactly the same by the hazards of the process. Each detail makes a unique piece.
The width of the band will be between 10 mm (approximately 0.354 inches) depending on the date numbers added to the glyph.
The minimum size for this ring is 5 (US size)
